George C. Sandt
George C. Sandt died this morning at the home of his son-in-law, Lewis Wer kheiser, in Forks Township, near Forks Church, of general debility. He wo uld have been 90 years of age on January 8 next. His wife died six mont hs ago. He was a native of Forks township, and was a farmer for many year s. Deceased was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Forks churc h. He is survived by four children \endash Mrs. Harry H. Osterstock, of Colle ge Hill, this city; Mrs. Lewis Werkheiser and Mrs. Aaron Hietzman, of for ks township, and George Sandt, of Brookfield, Pa.; also by a brother, Francis Sandt, of Bangor, and a step-brother, Moses Fox, of East Bangor, a nd by eleven grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. The funer al will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. from the home of his son-in0law, Le wis Werkheiser, followed by services in Forks Church and interment in For ks Cemetery. |
