Geo. Frankenfield Dies in Minnesota
John Frankenfield of Prophetstwon received word Satruday afternoon of t he death of his borhter, George Frankenfield of Edgerton, minn., which occ urred Satruday afternoon at one o'clock of cancer of the stomach follwoi ng an ilness of several years. mrs. Frankefield was 68 years old and w as a former Prophetstown resident, but had resided in Minnesota for the pa st 18 years. Funeral services were to be held at Edgerton Monday afternoo n.

Geroge M. Frankenfield
George M. Frankenfield was born March 13, 1861, at Bethlehem, Pa. being t he son of Charles and Sarah Frankenfield. At the age of 11 years he mov ed with his people to the vicinity of Prophetstown, where he worked as a f armhand, railroad laborer and thresher, and also learned the trade of harn ess and shoemaker. In 1909 he moved to Minesota, locating first at Pipesto ne, where in the following year he was married to Mrs. Anna Sears. In 191 1, they moved to Edgerton, Minn., where the deceased has since resided a nd followed his trade.

Those left to mourn his death are his widow, three step-chidlren, Joseph S ears of Norwood, N.Y, Dan Sears of Gary, Ind., Mrs. Thomas Blaine, of La ke Benton, Minn and his borhter, John Franeknfield of Prophetstown.

In early manhood the deceased was a member of the Modern Woodmen, and in r ecent years joining Edgerton Lodge, Knights of Pythias, which afflilati on he valued hightly.

Funeral services were conducted at the Edgerton Presbyterian Church Tuesd ay afternono, Rev. Perry L. Byam of Pipstone bing in charge, assisted by m embers of the Edgerton lodge of Pythians.
