VETERAN SCHOOL TEACHER SUCCUMBS TO HIS ILLS

Edwin' G. Snyder died at his res idence at Seigersville on . Monday morning of pneumonia, aged 61 years. He was the son of: Charles and Helen (nee Millhouse) Snyder. By profession he was a public school teacher and taught -school in New Jersey and. in Lehigh County, in what is known as Scheirer's school in Lowhill Township. In the fall he was elected assessor' of North Whitehall Township, He is survived by his widow, who was Ida Knoble, who has been bedfast for several years; also a son. Homer" E.. and two daugh ters, Mrs. Milton C . Cope, at home, and Mrs. John Brey Fogel. of Eas ton; also three brothers, Lewis, of Rising Sun; Frank. Schnecksville R. 1, and Peter. Slatington R. 1. and a sister. Mrs. Amanda Wolf, of Slating ton R. 1.

Private funeral services at his late residence. near Siegersville, on Thursday afternoon at 1 o clock. In terment, private in St; John's Union cemetery, near Easton.
