Levi Kelchner, age 55 years died Frdiay at the residence of his so n. O. F. Kelchner in Glendon; after an illness of several months with canc er. He was a shoemaker by treade and for many years resided in Odenwelder town. Besides his son, with whom he resided, he is survived by his wife a nd one daughter, Miss Ella Kelchner, of Easton, also by the following sist ers and borthers; Mrs. Henry Snyder, of Washingtonville; Mrs. Daniel Kind t, of Eioneport; Mrs. Joseph Gilbert, of Petersville, and Benjamin Kelchne r, of Butztown. Mr. Kelchner was a veteran of the late war, being a memb er of Company H. 214 th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. The funeral wi ll take place on monday afternoon; interment in Hay's Cemetery. |
