Chester Frankenfield

Chester F. Frankenfield, 89, of Bethlehem died Thursday, May 9, in St. Luk e's Hospital. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 41 years, retiri ng in 1975. Born March 20, 1913, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Ti tus and Stella Reichard Frankenfield. He was a member of Messiah Luther an Church in Bethlehem. He served in the Navy during World War II. He a nd his wife, the former Elizabeth Erney, observed their 60th wedding anniv ersary in March. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Su san Cole of Belvidere. A daughter, Jane Breisch, died in 2000. Services wi ll be held at the convenience of the family. There will be

no calling hours. Burial will be in Hellertown Union Cemetery. The Pears on Funeral Home, 1901 Linden St., Bethlehem, is in charge of arrangement s. The family requests memorials to the church, 2021 Worthington St., Beth lehem, PA 18017.
