Frederick Rapp Dead
Injuries Received by Riegelsville Man While on Way From Easton Proves Fata l
Frederick Rapp, a well-known resident of Riegelsville, N.J., died at 6: 15 o?clock last evening at the Easton Hospital, the result of injuries rec eived early on the morning of the 15rh inst., when the automobile in whi ch he was returning to his home from this city, went over an embankment al ong the South Delaware river road. He was 54 years of age.

Mr. Rapp came to Easton on the 14th of this month and attended a ceremoni al held by Rajah Temple, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. He left Easton so me time after midnight. A short distance below Hartzell?s farm, his steeri ng gear failed to work properly, the car swerved to the side, and went ov er the embankment.

Mr. Rapp was brought to the Easton Hospital, but he persisted to returni ng to his home. Tho severe injury to his head, however, failed to heal pro perly, and it was deemed best to have him return to the hospital. This w as done a few days ago.

Mr. Rapp is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Irvin Sheetz, of Mi lford, N.J.; Mrs. Melvin Robbins, of Easton; Misses Helen and Margaret Rap p, Residing at home, and two brothers, and three sisters, Howard Rap p, of Newark; Walter Rapp, of Holland, N.J.; Mrs. Clayton Robbins, Spri ng Mills, N.J.; Mrs. John Lippincott, of Holland, N.J.; Mrs. J. S. Manner s, of Frenchtown.

Mr. Rapp was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Holland; Riegelsvil le Lodge, F. and A. M>; Knights Templar, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, t he Odd Fellows and the Eagles. For several years past he was a superintend ent of the Warren Manufacturing Company. Mr. Rapp?s parents were the la te Mr. and Mrs. William Rapp, of Holland, N.J.

The funeral of Frederick Rapp was held this afternoon from his late ho me at Riegelsville, N.J. Services were conducted at that place and interm ent was made there. A large number of lodge men and friends of the deceas ed were in attendance.
