Harry E. Major
Marry E. Major, 78 yeasrs old, of 163 Northampton Street, an employee of t he Ingersoll-Rand Company for 34 years, died at Easton hospital at 4:34 th is mroning. He was admitted to the hospital at 10:08 last evening for med ical treatment. Mr. Major was a tester in the drill department at the abo ve plant.
He was a native of Riegelsville, N.J., a son of the late Samuel and Cather ine Major and had been a resident of Easton and Phillipsburg since 1905.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Clara Major, and two daughters, Mrs. Fred He rbert and Mrs. Frank Koplin; also two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Sigafoos, of Ri egelsville, N.J., and Mrs. Annie Sterner, of Easton, and four grandchildre n.
He was a meber of the Ingersoll-Rand Relief Association and of West End Co uncil, No. 280, Fraternal Patriotic Americans, of this city. |
