Charles A. Lippincott
Charles A. Lippincott, 81, Mildord-Riegelsville Road, Holland, N.J. died t his morning at his home. He was ill a week.
Mr. Lippincott was a carpenter for David Sutton and Frank Weiss, both Rieg elsville contractors. He retired in May 1959.
Born in Holland, he was a son of the late Samuel E. and Mary Elizabeth Gar es Lippincott.
he was a member, ruling elder and benevolence treasurer of Holland Presbyt erian Church. He was a meber of the Good fellowship Club of the church a nd the church quoit team. He was church school superintendent for 50 years .
He was a former elder and superintendent of the church school of the Refor med church of Riegelsville, until 12 years ago.
He was an Army veteran of World War I and was a member of Fidelity Post 11 3, American Legion, Frenchtown, and Washington Camp 542, IOOF.
Survivors include his widow, Bertha H.Scott; a son, Charles Alvin II, at h ome; a daughter, Mrs. Michael D. Prunznick, Santa Anta, Calif.; a siste r, Mrs.Samuel H. Scott Jr., Milford R.D. 1 and a grandson.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m Tuesday at the Holland Presbyterian Chur ch, Interment will be in the church cemtey. Arangements were made by the R ush Funeral Home, Bloomsbury. |
