Charles Frankenfield, North Watsontown, Dies

Charles D. Frankenfield,' 72, of North Watsontown, died at 11 a. m. today at his home. He had been ill since November, 1952, and previously had been hospitalized in Williamsport for three weeks.

A former high pressure boiler operator, he worked for area industries.

Born in the Watsontown area on June 13, 1881, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Frankenfield.

Survivors include his widow, Edna, and a son, Luther, both at home; two brothers, John Frankenfield, California, and Hoffey Frankenfield, Colorado; a sister, Violet, of Denver, Colorado, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Herbert Barr funeral home, Watsontown, with Rev. Paul K. Schuler, pastor of the Missionary Alhance Church, officiating. Interment will be in "Watsontown cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m.
