After retiring in 1969 as a sergeant with the Whitemarsh Township Police Departments, Mr. Franeknfield worked for several years i the shipping and receiving department of Graff Bros. Printing Co. in Philadelphia and for a few years was a guard for Whitemarsh Security Systems in Fort Washington. A native of Lafayette Hill, he graduated in 1930 fromt eh former Conshohocken High school and later from the Pennsylvania Police Academy and the FBA Academy in Washington. Before becoming a police officer, he worked at his family's feed mill in Whitemarsh. | ||
