Unangst, Easton Resident, Retired Teacher Herbert D. Unangst, 76, of 613 Raub St., Easton, a retired schoolteache r, died at 9:15 a.m. yesterday in Easton Hospital where he was admitted Oc t. 15. He was ill a long time. A graduate of Kutztown State Teachers College, Mr. Unangst had taught in t he Lower Saucon Township Elementary School, Jacobsburg School in Bushki ll Township, Nisky School in Upper Nazareth Township and the Forks Townsh ip Elementary School. He was born in Bethlehem Township, Feb. 9, 1887, a son of the late Geor ge and Sarah Seibold Unangst. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton. Surviving are three brothers, Joseph M. and Dayton E. Unangst, both Bethle hem, and Ammon O. Unangst, in Ohio; a sister, Daisy, wife of Arthur Spengl er, Bethlehem, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Ashton Funeral Home, Ea ston. | ||
