Jacob L. George
Jacob L. George, father of Owen George, of Kleinhans avenue, this place, d ied at Kintnersville yesterday morning. Deceased was 81 years old. Death w as caused by a complication of ailments and paralysis. Beises the son nam ed abover he is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughter s: William George, of Norristown, Frederick George, of Kintnersville; Jac ob George, of Philadelphia; Mrs. William Althouse, of Philadelphia, and Mr s. H. C. Frankenfield and Mrs. John Nicholas, of Kintnersville, Sevente en grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive hime. Deceased w as a member of the Reformed Church at Ferndale.

Mr. George was born in Bucks County, he was a plasterer and bricklay er by trade. On January 1st, 1863, deceased enlisted as a private in Compa ny B. one Hundred and Ninth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. On Mar ch 3, 1865, he was transferred to Company F. One Hundred and Eleventh Regi ment, Pennsylvania Volunteers and honorable discharge July 6, 1865.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning next. Interment will be ma de at Ferndale.
