Find Aged man Dead in bed
William H. Frankenfield Suffers Fatal Heart Attack During Night
William H. Frankenfield, former employee of the coke plant of the Bethleh em Steel Company, aged sixty-eight years, was found dead in bed Sunday mor ning at seven o?clock at his resident of his son-in-law and daughter, M r. and Mrs. Edwin J. Bachman, Hellertown road, near Cross Avenue, Bethlehe m.
Frankenfield retired as usual Satruday night at 11:30 o?clock and was appa rently in the best of health. When he failed to respond to a call for bre akfast his daughter made an investigation and found life extinct.
Coroner Dr. W. Calvin Rickel, of Nazareth, issued a certificate of death d ue to heart disease.
Mr. Frankenfield was a native of Durham Township and was a son of the la te William and Esther Trauger Frankenfield. His wife preceded him in deat h. He leaves six children; Jacob and William, of Hellertown; Elmer, of Cl eveland, O.; Clarence, of Philadelphia; Arthur, Dillsburg, Pa., and Mrs. E dwin J. Bachman. Also six grandchildren and four brothers and three siste rs as follows: Hugh, Hellertown; Erwin, Durham; Sylvester, Riegelsville, A lex, Bethlehem; Mrs. Monroe Young, Nazareth Pike Bethlehem; Mrs. Harvey Ba lliet, Springtown; Mrs. William Wismer, of Pipersville.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at two o?clock from the la te residence. Services will be held in Durham church at 2:45 p.m. and inte rment will be made in Durham cemetery. |
