Mrs. Edna M. Benner, 89, of 525 Arch St., Perkasie, a teacher in the Amity ville Elementary School, Pleasant Valley, Bucks County, for 27 years, di ed Sunday in the Upper Bucks Nursing and Convalescent Center, Milford Town ship. She was the widow of Robert A. Benner. She and her husband operat ed the former Benner Funeral Home, now Suess Funeral Home, Perkasie, f or 43 years until 1960. Mrs. Benner was a graduate of Kutztown Universit y. Born in Springfield Township, Bucks County, she was a daughter of the l ate John and Susan (Frankenfield) Hindenach. A member of Trinity Luther an Church, Perkasie, she was a Sunday school there teacher for many year s. She was a past president of the Soroptomist Club, Perkasie. Survivi ng is a daughter, Carolyn R. of Perkasie. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thur sday in the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, 606 Arch St., Perkasie. A calli ng hour will precede the services.
