Edwin P. Frankenfield
Edwin P. Frankenfield, a well known tailor in Passer, passed away at 8: 50 Tuesday morning at his home at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 1 da y. He had been ailing with asthma and complications for a number of years.
Mr. Frankenfield was born within a stone?s throw of the house in whi ch he died, a son of the late Simon and Eliza (Brinker) Frankenfield. In h is younger days he served as a telegraph operator for the P. and R. Railro ad in Lansdale, Perkasie and Center Valley. Later he went into the tailori ng business with his brother, a partnership which he continued until a f ew years ago.
There survive his wife, Anna Maria (Kramer) Frankenfield, a son Frank, All entown; three grandchildren, and four sisters; Kate Frankenfield, Passe r; Adeline wife of Jacob Rickert, Akron, O.; Emma, wife of Monroe Grow, Al lentown, and Carrie, wife of Isaac Apple, Passer. A daughter Bertha and th ree brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o?clock from his home. Inte rment will follow in Woodland cemetery, Blue Church. Rev. H. S. Rhoads, He llertown, will officiate. Viewing Thursday from 7 to 9. |
