Peffer Thomas A. Peffer, secretary and treasurer of the Saucon Valley Trust Compa ny, of the Saucon Valley Trust Company, Hellertown, Friday morning receiv ed a telegram announcing the sudden death of his brother, Willis S. Peffe r, on Thursday evening at his home in Indlewood, Cal., a few minutes aft er being stricken with a heart attack. The deceased was aged 39 years a nd was the son of Fred. W. Peffer and the late Mr. Peffer, being born on J une 1, 1892, at Hellertown. Mr. Peffer was in perfect health and his sudden demise was a shock to h is family and many relatives and friends in California and this sectio n. He attended the public schools of Hellertown, graduating from Hellerto wn High School, class of 1908,. In 1909 Mr. Peffer left for California a nd for the past fifteen years has been city engineer of Indlewood, Ca l. He is survived by his father, his wife, Gladys (Zillgitt) peffer, o ne son Leigh Davis Peffer, of Indlewood, Cal.; two brothers, Thomas A. Pef fer, and Borough Engineer D. W. Peffer, of Hellertown; four sisters, Mr s. J. Matthew Litsch, of Bethlehem; Mrs. O.P. Johnson, of Waverly, N.Y.: M rs. C. P. Halpin, of East Orange, N.J., and Miss Caroline Peffer, of Bethl ehem. Arrangements for the funeral have been made for Saturday afterno on and will take place from his late home in Indlewood.
