Notes:
Missing Man Found Drowned - We gave an account last week in the columns of The Express of the disappearance of Mr. Samuel Wagner, an old man of sixty odd years of age, who was last seen on Wednesday night by a ge ntleman of Easton, who found him wandering about and took him as far as Centre Square on the way home. He was never seen again alive. This morning word was received in Easton, that the body of the man had been fou nd in the Delaware River, near the Black Horse Tavern, a few miles below Easton. Coroner Thomas went down and the body was recognized as that of t he missing Samuel Wagner. How he fell into the river is of course unknown, but it is supposed that he tumbled over the riverbank, while wandering about Easton.

Since writing the above we learn that Mr. Wagner's body was found near the bank of the river, last evening, by three men who were in a bateau. The body was in a sitting position, and amongst the bushes near the edge of the water. The jury rendered a verdict that the deceased came to his death by drowning in the Delaware River, in such manner unknown to the jury.
