Mrs. Jennie Bardwell Kram, wife of Frank Hl. Kram, Lehigh Valley station agent at this place, died at her home on Church street in this borough shortly after noon on Friday, after a very brief illness with peritonits, aged 37 years.

Mrs. Kram was the only daughter of Major and Mrs. H. W. Bardwell of Tunkhannock, and was born on Sept. 24, 1867. On the anniversary of that edate, eighteen years later, Sept. 24, 1885, she was united in marriage to F. H. Kram by the Rev. W. J. To Mr. and Mrs. Kram were born three children, Gertrude, Rodney and Mabel, who with the husband, father and mother and one brother, Rodney J. Bardwell, of Denver, Colo., survive her.

Mrs. Karm was an impulsive, generous, whole-souled owman, weith most brilliant intellect. She was a devoted Christian wife and mother. Shortley after her marriage she was converted and joined the Methodist Church at Tunkhanoock about 1890, and upon her removaal to this place she became a regular attendant at the church services, in shich sh always took an active part. She numbered amoung her admirers all those with whom she was acquainted, and her death, coming as it did with hardly a warning, was a great shock to her wide acquaintance.

The floral offerings by friends were most beautiful and choice, and so abundant as to entirely cover the casket. The fuenral services were held at the Mehtoidst church Monday at 12 O'clock, Rev. A. J. Cook officiaitn, after which the funeral cortege took Lehihg Valley train No. 4 for Tunkhannock, where the intererment was in Sunnydside cemetery at that place.
