Pearl Fegrly, age 33, wife of Dr. ARthur W. Fegtly, formerly of Do uglass, Kansas, died at the St. Francis hopsital early Friday of Bronci al pneumonia following an atack of influenza. Mrs. Fegtly was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Frankenfield, of 324 Lo rraine avenu. She was born in Pawnee county, nebraska, November 25, 188 5, but removed to wichita with her parents when but a small child and unt il a year ago has made this city her home. She was a graduate of the Wichita grammar schools and attended the Wichi ta High School where she was one of the most popular girls in the schoo l. She later attended the Carter Conservatory from which she graduate d. Mrs. Fegtly was a member of the First Methoidst Church and has alwa ys taken a great interest in all church work. She was married to Dr. Arthur W. Fegtly, then an interne in St. Francis ho spital, Octover 14, last years and shortly after remoed to Douglass, kan s. where they resided until a few weeks ago wehn Dr. Fegtly was called in to the services. He left last Saturday morning for Camp Pike, Ark., but w as summoned home by his wife's illness, arriving in Wichita Thursday after noon. Besides her hsuband and parents she is survived by one brother, Arthu r, of Los Angeles, Calif. The funeral services ill be held at the First M. E. Church Monday afterno on at four o'clock in charge of Rev. J.R. McFadden. | ||
