Dayton Pioneer Is Dead at 91
Dayton, Dec. 7 -- Mrs. Laura R. Bayless, 91, lifelong resdient of Dayton, died in herhome here at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of several weeks. She was the widow of Platt Bayless.
Born here, she was teh daughter of Ezra and Amelia Frankenfield, pioneers., Her father was a grocer. She was married in 1900. her hsuband, died in 1938. She belonged to the Presbyterian church and was charter member of the OES. She was a Sunday school worker for a number of years.
Survivors are a step-daughter, Mrs. George Glaze, of Dayton, and a brother, Ira Frankenfield, Lafayette R. 1. |
