Milton E. Apple
Milton E. Apple, 68 years old, of Riegelsvile, died at 3:40 yesterday afte rnoon at the Easton Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital April 11 f or surgical treatment.

Mr. Apple was born in Durham Township, Bucks County, and was a son of t he late Rueben and Hannah Hess Apple. He had lived in Riegelsville f or 21 years and from 1909 to 1939 was constable of Durham Township and al so of Riegelsvlle.

On Aug. 6, 1919, he entered the employ of the Lehigh Valley Railroad in Ea ston as delivery clerk in the freight hours. He also served as an assista nt baggage agent for a number of years and worked up tot the him of his la st illness. He was a popular employee and had many friends here.

His widow, Mrs. Ella Ziegenfuss Apple, survives him with eight sons, Montf ord, of Pen Argyl, Raymond, Wilson Borough; Roy, of Easton; Clarence, Pa ul and John, Riegelsville, Pa; Chester, of Breinigsville, Pa., and Fran k, of Finesville, N.J. and one daughter, Violet of Milford N.J., also twen ty grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral of Milton E. Apple
The funeral of Milton E. Apple, of Riegelsville, who died at Easton Hospit al on Tuesday, was held this afternoon at 2:30 in Durham Lutheran Churc h, Bucks County. The Rev. Edmund Bieber, of Durham Church and the Re v. R. Henry Neikirk, of St. Peter?s Lutheran Church, Riegelsville, conduct ed the services and interment was made in the Durham Union Cemetery. T he pallbearers were William Bush; Fred McPeek. L. J. Yeager, Garland M. Ea st, Edwin Strauss and Earl C. Mitman.
