Died on Way To Work
Brother of Allentown Lady Dies in Carbondale.

Aber Amey, 58 years old, foreman of the coal storage yeard of the Delwa re and Hudson Company, at Simpson, and one of the oldest employees in t he service of the company, while on his way to his duties fell on the side walk on Tuesday morning and expired almost instantly.

Heart disease was the cause.

Mr. Amey was born in Waymart on April 21, 1848. He entered the servi ce of the Delaware and Hudson company when only fifteen years old and w as with the company until his death, nearly forty-five years. He was marri ed on May 18, 1889, to Miss Hattie Hathaway, daughter of Rev. H.P. Hathawa y, of Carbondale. He was a faithful and zealous member of the First Method ist Church and at the time of his death he was one of the trustee of the c hurch. His survivors are his wife and one sister, Mrs. Frances Diehl, wi fe of Wm. B. Diehl, of 537 Green street. The funeral will take place Frid ay.
