Martin E.Ruhl, Emaus, Is Fatally Stricken
Aged Employee of Donaldson Iron Company Dies At Plant
Martin L. Ruhf, 124 South Sixth street Emaus, passed away suddenly yesterd ay morning, at the age of 76 years. Though not feeling in the best of hela th, he had gone to his place of employement, the Donaldson IronCompany, a nd at 6:15 soon after his arrival, was taken ill.

Fellow employees at the iron company where he had been employed for the pa st twenty years, immediately summoned his physician. Dr. K. E. Klingman, E mas, and took Mr. Ruhf home. He had expired before they reached his home.

Born April 5, 1858, in Lehigh county, near Bethlehem, Mr. Ruhf lived in th is county the greater part of his life. After the death of his wife, he we nt to Emaus to take up employment at the Donaldson Iron Company, and sin ce that time he resided at the home of Mrs. Mary Nickel, Emaus. He was a m ember of Camp No. 39, P.O. S. of A., Bethlehem and of the Moravian chur ch at Emaus. There are no survivors.

Funeral services will be held from his late home, 124 South Sixth Stree t, Emaus, on Thursday afternoon t 1:30 o?clock, daylight savings time, wi th further services in the Emaus Moravian church, Rev. Paul T. Shultz, pas tor, will officiate. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery, Allent own. Friends may call Wednesday night from 7 to 9 o?clock.
