Albert Fritchman
Pensioned Steel Co. Employee Worked There 38 years
Albert Fritchman, 75, a pensioned employee of the Bethlehem Steel Co., di ed in his sleep Wednesday morning at the home of his son, Percy Fritchma n, 705 N. 4th St., with whom he had been residing for the last year. He h ad been in failing health for nearly a month.
Mr. Fritchman retired several years ago after the completion of 38 yea rs of services at the Bethlehem palnt as a worker in the open hearth furna ces.
A native of Springtown, he was a resident of Bethlehem for 24 years befo re moving to Allentown. He had also lived in Egypt for a short time. H is wife, the former Laura Durn, of springtown, preceded him in death six y ears ago.
He was a member of St. Michel?s Lutheran church, this city.
Mr. Fritchman is survived by eight children; Howard, Harry. Luther, and Pe rcy all of Allentown, William New York City, Mrs. Alice Stucker, Bethlehe m, Herbert, Allentown, and Mrs. Anna Lynn, this city.
He also leaves 45 grandchildren 34 of whom reside in Allentown, 7 in Bethl ehem and 4 in New York City and 6 great grandchildren.

Albert Fritchman, 75, a pensioned employee of the Bethlehem Steel Co., w ho died Wednesday morning at the Home of his son, Percy Fritchman, 7 05 N. 4th St., Allentown, left the following survivors:
Nine children, Howard, Harry, Luther and Percy, all of Allentown; Willia m, New York City; Mrs. Alice Stocker, Bethlehem; Herbert, Mrs. Anna Lyn n, Allentown, Mrs. William Henn, Bethlehem; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Cressma n, Coopersburg; two brothers, Percy and Wilson Fritchman, both of Hellerto wn. |
