Solomon Mill
Solomon Mill, a well known retired farmer died at his home at Emaus Saturd ay morning, aged seventy0nine years, four months and twenty days, after fo ur months? illness of jaundice and a complication. The deceased conduct ed a farm in Lower Milford township until twelve years ago when his wife d ied and he retired. The following children survive: Mrs. Thomas Kiess, Em aus; Mrs. George Van Buskirk, Reading; John, of Vera Cruz; Mrs. George Hub er, Centre Valley, Mrs. Clayton Hoffman and Miss Bertha Mill, of Allentow n. A brother, Daniel Mill, of Dillingersvile, and two sisters, Mrs. Ma ry McCall, of Columbia, Lancaster Co., and Mrs. Amanda Meyers of Lancaste r, also survive together with seventeen grandchildren and four great-grand children.

The deceased was a lifelong member of the Lutheran congregation at Chestn ut Hill. The funeral will be held from the residence of his daughter, mr s. Thomas Kiess, West Emaus, on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. with regular servic es following at Chestnut Hill. Rev. D. C. Kauffman officiating.
