Mrs. Emma M. Hillegass
Mrs. Emma M.(nee Cressman) Hillegass, widow of John Hillegas, died at 9: 15 o?clock Wednesday morning at her home, 531 Eleventh St. She had been ai ling for the past two years, the last nine months of which she spent in be d. She was50 years, 7 months and 9 days of age.
She was born in Gruversville, Bucks County, the daughter of the late Cathe rine, 0Nee Mann) and Joseph Cressman. She resided at Coopersburg for so me time, coming to this city fourteen years ago, remaining here ever sinc e. Mr. Hillegass was a devout member of Dubb?s Memorial Reformed church.
Besides her mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Ann Hillegass, she is survived by t he following children; Clinton, of Siesholtzville; Milton, Patterson, a nd Hiram, Elmira, Cecilia, Oliver, Annie, Emma and Mabel, all of this cit y. Two sister, Mrs. Carrie Mease, of Quakertown, and Mrs. Jennie Frankenf ield, of this city, and three brothers, Harry Cressman, Richlandtown; Elm er Cressman, Bethlehem, and Bernard, of Quakertown, also survive. She al so leaves four grandchildren. |
