Jacob Hensler
After an illness of six weeks, suffering of heart trouble, Jacob Hensler d ied at 2:45 this morning at his home, No. 11 South Ninth Street, He w as in the 74th year of his age. Deceased is survived by a widow, Maria Hensler; one brother, John Hensler, and two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Flad and Mr s. Eliza Kern. The latter lives in Allentown; the others are residen ts of Easton.
Mr. Hensler was born in Germany but was brought to Easton in his infancy by his parents. During the Civil War he served as a member of the Thirt y-eighth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was a member of the Fir st Reformed Church and was a carpenter by trade. |
