Calvin W. Ruch
Calvin W. Ruch, 73, a retired maintenance man for the Bethlehem Township S chool District was pronounced dead on arrival at Easton Hospital Saturda y. He was stricken with a heart attack at hishome and taken to the hospit al by ambulance.
He resided at 5131 William Penn Highway, Palmer Township. Born in Springto wn, he was a son of the ate John and Eliza Lerch Ruch.
He was a member of Springfield Trinity Reformed Church, Pleasant Valley.
Prior to his retirement two years ago he had been engaged in farming and m aintenance work.
Surviving are his wife, the former Bertha Frankenfield; three sons, Stov er of Phillipsburg, Willard of Bethlehem and Leroy of Easton Mounted Rou te 40; five daughters, Mrs. Walter Dornblaser at home, Mrs. Mae Bender, He llertown R. 1, Mrs. Florence Barron, Farmersville, and Mrs. Mary Christi ne and Mrs. Edith Hackman, both of Bethlehem R. 1; 20 grandchildren a nd 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Steyers Funeral Home, 500 Lind en St., Bethlehem. Viewing will be tomorrow night. |
