Allentown July 19 Henry Frankenfield, the bartender who was arrensted several seeks ago a nd committed to jail on charges of enticing anumber of young allentown gir ls to new York and placing them in disorderly house, died shortly before n oon today at the home of his father, at Pond Eddy, near Hecktown, Northamp ton County. Frankenfield ahd been a sufferer from sonsumpton for several y ears, but after his imprisonment he began to sink fast, and it became a qu estion of only a short time when he would die. Yesterday ex-Alderman Schock came to his rescue and furnished bail of $1,5 00 for Frankenfield's appearance atthe September term of cout. The prison er was at once released and taken to the home of his father where he died. Frankenfield was aobut 40 years old and came from a good family. Heh ad a fine education and for a number of years he taught school in Northamp ton county. Later, howeer, he drifter into the saloon business. The dire ct charge upon which he was held was the procuring of a girl named Benne t, under 16 years of age, for immoral purposes In New York. She was rescu ed by the Gerry Society and this led to revelations which showed many oth er girls from Allentown had by promise of being able to earn big mon dy in New York, been led to leave their home. Frankenfield's arrest took p lace abotu six weeks ago.
