Cyrus L. Hoch
Bethlehem Man Was 86 Years of Age ? Born Near Bath
Cyrus L. Hoch, 86, of 420 Broadway Bethlehem, died Thursday night at th is home. Father of Frank G. Hoch, secretary of Bethlehem Globe-Times he w as a native of the Irish settlement near Bath and was born Dec 14, 185 4, a son of George and Lydia Frankenfield Hoch.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Calvin F. Miller hom e, 529 Wyndotte St., Bethlehem. Entombment in Memorial park mausoleum.

In addition to the son, Frank, another son, Howard A. Hoch, Sr., of Founta in Hill, and two grandchildren, Alma Elizabeth Hoch and Howard A. Hoch Jr ., survive. His wife, Annie Rinker, whom he married Oct. 13, 1862, died Ja n. 6, 1936.

Retired business man, Mr. Hoch served two terms as school director of Sou th Bethlehem borough, was engaged in the Merchantile, milk and shoe busine ss in Bethlehem, also the hotel business in Brodheads, the crushed ston e, coal and gasoline business, with automobile supplies.

Mr. Hoch was a member of St. Peter?s Lutheran Church since a youth.
