Charles Woodring
Charles Woodring, 62, of 618 Race Street, Catasauqua, a native of Forks to wnship, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital, Mr. Woodring was born Oct. 1 8, 1886, a son of the late William and Ansanetta Stofflet Woodring.
He had resided in Catasauqua for 40 years. He formerly was employ ed as an iron worker in the Davies and Thomas Co., of that borough, and mo re recently by the Mosser founder, Allentown. He also had been worki ng as a caretaker in Catasauqua for several years. Mr. Woodring was a memb er of Christ Evangelical Reformed Church, Shoenersville.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; a brother, Hiram, of Allentown; five sister s, Mrs. Carrie Keiper, of Bethlehem; Mrs. Edna Buss, of Bridgeport, Conn .; Mrs. George Scherer, of Bath, Mrs. Mary Hughes, of Allentown, and Mr s. Edgar Graver, of Catasauqua, and four step-children, Dorothy, Crai g, of Allentown, Mrs. Oliver Wilding, of Jersey City, M.J. Mrs. Albert Sch erer, of Emmaus, R.D.1 and William Craig, at home. |
