Roy M. Fulmer Sr. Dies
Retired Easton Grocer, 68, Was Leader In Amateur Theatrical Productions
Roy M. Fulmer, Sr., 68, of 613 Line St., died early last night at his hom e, he was ill three years and nine months.

Mr. Fulmer owned and operated a grocery store at 462 Line St. for 34 year s. He retired in November 1956.

Born in Easton on Nov. 20, 1891 he was the son of the late Roy and Sarah Y otter Fulmer.

Mr. Fulmer formerly was active in church work. He also produced ameateur t heatricals at Shull Junior High School, Easton High School and at vario us churches. One of his better know productions was "Mother Goose" whi ch was repeated many times though the years.

During World War Ii, Mr. Fumler wrote between 100 and 125 letters a mon th to servicemen.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Easton; Woodmen of the Worl d, Omaha, Nev., and Lehicton Lodge 244, Independent Order of Odd Fellow s, Easton.

Surviving are his widow the former Edith May Vogel, a son, Roy M. Jr., Liv ingston, N.J.; two daughters, Reba I., wife of City Councilman Charl es S. Morrison and Ruth N. wife of Robert C. Illick, both of Easton, and n ice grandchldren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m Thrusdy at the Strunk funeral home, East on.
