Joseph Afflerbach
Joseph Afflerbach,a former resident of Easton and retired conductor on t he Lehigh valley Railroad died suddenly yesterday morning at his hom e, 85 Fayette Street, Perth Amboy, N.J. He was 67 years of age.

Mr. Afflerbach was born in Easton and was in the employ of the Lehigh Vall ey Railroad Company for about 45 years. He retired several years ago and h ad since been devoting his to the affairs of the Perth Amboy Building a nd Load Association, of which he was president.

Deceased is survived by his widow and two sons, Harry and R. Valentine Aff lerbach, of Perth Amboy also by two sisters, Mrs. Thomas S. Miller and Mi ss Ella Afflerbach, both of this city. Mrs. Miller left on June 28, wi th sister Edith, on St. John?s Lutheran church, on a trip to Yellowstone N ational Park and has not been notified of her brother?s death.

Mr. Afflerbach was in Easton last week and the news of his sudden death w as a great shock to his many friends here.
