Peter Hess Peter Hess died yesterday at his home at Bethlehem, aged 74 years. Bo rn in Bethlehem on January 3, 1855, he was the son of the late Thomas H. a nd Katherine Kern Hess. His wife, Emma, preceded him in death on August 2 6, 1928. He is survied by one son, Thomas, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Ash er Learch, Greenwich street, Bethlhem; three brothers, Charles, of Nazare th highway; James, of Mauch Chunk, and Harvey, of East Union boulevard, Be thlehem; two sisters, Mrs. H.D. Saeger, of Nazareth highwa; Miss Sara S. H ess, of Good Shepherd Home, Allentown, and two grandchildren. He was a former school director of Bethlehem townshp and also an active me mber and former officer of St. Thomas REfored cvhurch, Macada. Funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock with services at t he family residence. Interment will be made in the family plot, Altonah c emetery. | ||
