John L. Stocker
John L. Stocker, for forty-five years a wheelwright at Stone Church, di ed at seven o?clock Saturday evening at the home of his son-in-law, Jo hn P. Fraunfelter, at Bangor, of a complication of diseases, aged seventy- seven years. He had been an invalid for several years and was bedfast s ix weeks. He was a native of Lower Mt. Bethel and was well known in th at section. He was director in the independent school district at one tim e. He is survived by his widow, nee Hunsberger, one son, William A. Stock er and two daughters, Mrs. Fraunfelter and Mrs. E. P. Buzzard, all of Bang or; also by the following brothers and sisters, Jacob, of Sciota, Monroe c ounty, Philip, of Davis, Ill., Abraham, of Bangor, Mrs. William H. Spee r, Bangor; Mrs. Mary Stull, Stone Church, Mrs. Betsy Schock, Sharon, Wi s. Deceased was a member of Franklin Council, O. U. A. M. of Stone Chur ch and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bangor. The funeral will be he ld Wednesday at 1 p.m. |
