John H. Kreidler
John H. Kreidler, a highly respected and well known citizen of Bethlehem t ownship, died at his home there at 1:20 a.m. today of pneumonia after an i llness of about one week, aged sixty0-one years.

He was well known throughout the county and served two terms from 18 78 to 1884 as county commission?s clerk. He had been a justice of the pea ce in Bethlehem township for eighteen years past. For a period of thir ty years he taught school at different places throughout his own townsh ip continuing in the profession until his last illness. He was also promi nent in church and Sunday school affairs, at the time of his death being d eacon of the Farmersville Lutheran Congregation and superintendent of t he Grove Sunday School.

Besides his widow he leaves four children, two sons, and two daughters, El mer E. Kreidler, of Easton; Leidy A. Kreidler, of Bethlehem; Mrs. Ma ry J. wife of Charles Gearhart, of Lower Saucon, and Mrs. Emma L. wi fe of Mervin Werkheiser, of the South Side. One sister, Mrs. Samuel R. Ode nwelder, of Nazareth, and one brother Antro Kreidler, of Hecktown, also su rvive.

The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the house, with servi ces at the Farmersville church and interment in the adjoining cemetery.Eas ton Daily Express, Monday, September 10, 1906, Page 5

John H. Kreidler, died at 6:45 this morning of a complication of ailment s, after a lingering illness at his home in Nazareth, aged 57 years. T he deceased was for many years engaged in the carriage-building busine ss in Nazareth and was one of the borough?s prominent business me n. He is survived by his wife, and by one son, Jesse Kreidler, of Nazaret h. Mrs. B. F. Kemmerer, of this city, is a sister of the deceased.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:40 in the late ho me of the deceased. Interment will take place in the Moravian cemete ry at that place.
