Eugene W. Abel
Eugene W. Abel, 65 years old, a native and life-long resident of Nazaret h, died yesterday at his home, 166 Whitfield Street, from apoplexy, aft er an illness of one week. He was born at Nazareth on July 25, 1872, a s on of Henrietta Frankenfield Abel and the late Tilghman Abel. He was a mi llwright by trade and was last employed at the plant of the Lone Star Port land Cement Company.

He was a member of St. John?s Lutheran Church, Nazareth, since boyhoo d. He also was a member of Washington Camp No. 445, P.O. S. of A.; Nazare th Chamber, No. 109, Knights of Friendship and Nazareth Castle No. 396, Kn ights of the Golden Eagle.

He is survived by this mother; three sons, Paul J. Abel, of Allentown, a nd twins, Leslie , of Nazareth and Lester, of Pen Argyl; six daughters, Mr s. Sylvester Kromer, Nazareth, Mrs. LeRoy Schlegel, Allentown; Mrs. Ell is Santee, Hecktown; Mrs. Walter Frantz, Nazareth, Mrs. Walter Pyshe r, at home and Mrs. Ralph Brodt, of Nazareth; twenty-two grandchildren; fi ve brothers, Frank, Elmer, and Arch Abel, of Nazareth; Clayton Abel, of To rrington, Conn., and Asher Abel, Allentown; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Ha y, of Bethlehem, Mrs. Carrie Sandt, of Stockertown, and Mrs. Charles Hartz ell, of Bath.
