F. Parker Richards Dies
Active in Community affairs; Councilman 3 Years

F. Parker Richards, 1707 Butler Street, a well-known resident of Wilson, d ied at his home last evening. He was councilman for one three year term a nd last year was a candidate for director of the poor and met defeat at t he general election.

Mr. Richards was a lover of race horses and at one time owned several trot ters. He was a member of St. Mark?s Reformed Church, a deacon in the Chur ch and a member of the Men?s bible Class and Consistory. He was also a mem ber of Easton Aerie, No. 121 Fraternal Order of Eagles. Mr. Richards was b orn at Farmersville. He was proprietor of the Court House Hotel several ye ars ago.

Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie E. Richards, a sister, Mr s. Alice Hoch and a brother, Thomas Richards, all of Wilson.

About a year ago Mr. Richards fell on his way to church and had been in i ll health since that time. He had been confined to a bed for nine weeks.
