John Bonstein
John Bonstein, 47, of 140 S. 6th St., Easton, an employee of the Bethlehem Steel Co., died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 11:30 p.m. yesterday at his home.
Born on Jan. 25, 1907, a lifelong resident of Easton, he was a son of the late John and Eliza Haebner Bonstein. He was employed as a burner at the Bethlehem Steel Co. for the last 14 years.
Mr. Bonstein was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton.
Surviving are his widow, the former Sybilla Riley; two sons, John Bonstein Jr. and Robert Bonstein, and a stepson, Arthur Riley, all at home; a daughter, Irene Bonstein, and a stepdaughter, Joan Riley, also at home; and a brother Theodore, of Easton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Adams Funeral Home, Easton. |
