Orrin E. "Dutch" Christine, 68, of 1713 Schadt Ave., Whitehall Township, died Tuesday in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of Mary Bleiler) Christine. They were married 45 years in April.
He was a pressman for Mail-Well Envelope Co., Allentown, for 17 years until retiring in 1987.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clinton and Rebecca Christine.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a former Cub Scout master of Pack 94 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.
Survivors: Wife; son, **** of East Stroudsburg; daughter, ****, wife of **** of Allentown; brother Morris of Schnecksville; sister, Perma Nagle of Allentown; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Kenneth.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 3rd and Walnut streets, Catasauqua. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday. |
