RICHARD P. HELLER, 59, FORMER WILSON AREA SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER

Richard P. Heller, 59, of Housatonic, Mass., a former Wilson
area school director, died Monday, Nov. 2, in his home. He
was the husband of Jo Ann M. (Paini) Heller of Palmer Township.
He was a senior data operator for Mineral Technology, Easton,
before retiring in 1995.
He served on the Wilson Area School Board, 1983-94.
Born in Wilson, he was a son of Anna E. (Beohm) Heller of
Wilson and the late Paul Heller.
He was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson.
He served on the Wilson recreation and Lehigh-Carbon Intermediate
Unit boards; was a life member of the Wilson Elementary School
PTA, past secretary of the Varsity "W" Club, former
member of the Wilson Area Band Boosters Publicity Department
and former statistician for the Lester Pfeffer American Legion
Post baseball team.
He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors: Wife and mother, daughter, ***** of Bethlehem,
and a sister, ***** of Wilson.
