William R. Larison, 78, of 1520 Mitman Road, Forks Township,
and 3930 N. Ocean Ave., Riviera Beach, Fla., died Monday in
Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Frances (Dewalt) Larison,
who died in 1984.
Larison worked in the rock drill division of Ingersoll-Rand
Co., Phillipsburg, for more than 30 years before retiring in
1973. He previously was employed by the former Chipman Knitting
Mills, West Easton.
He was a past president of the Forks Township Volunteer Fire
Company.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Russell and Margaret
(Bunting) Larison.
He was a member of Forks United Church of Christ, Forks Township.
Survivors: Sons, William R. Jr. and Bruce, and a daughter,
Janet D'Nicuola, all of Bethlehem; brother George of Palmer
Township; sisters, Eleanor McBride and Elizabeth Brewer, both
of Easton; stepdaughter, Gloria G. Miller of Forks Township;
six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Thursday,
Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson, and 10:30-11
a.m. Friday in the church. |
