Earl K. Prosser, 86, of 800 Hausman Road, Allentown, died Wednesday
in Luther Crest Health Center. He was the husband of Margaret
(Weaver) Prosser. They were married 61 years in January.
A 1925 graduate of Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science,
he was a pharmacist for 45 years and owned and operated Prosser's
Drug Store, 834 Main St., Hellertown from 1948-1970.
Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late William F.D.
and Elsie (Knoble) Prosser.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
He was the president of the board of directors of the former
Saucon Valley Trust, later the Saucon Valley division of First
National Bank of Allentown.
Survivors: Wife; sons, ****. of Orchard Park, N.Y., and
****. of Hellertown; brother, William K. of Hellertown;
sisters, Marie Peterson of Lancaster, Jeanette Davis and Doris
Bebb, both of Hellertown and Loretta Rupert of Cape Coral,
Fla.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Lester S. Pearson Funeral Home,
1901 Linden St., Bethlehem. No calling hours.
