Mrs. Mary Gaffney
Mrs. Mary Gaffney, 88, native and life-long resident of Easton, widow of John Gaffney, died this morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Martin, 319 North Ninth Street.
In addition to Mrs. Martin, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Thomas Langan, also of Easton; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Zimmerman, of Bethlehem.

Rites for Mrs. Gaffney
Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Gaffney, widow of John Gaffney, who died teusday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Martin, 219 North Ninth Street, were conducted today at 2;30 P.M. AT THE Bechtel funeral home, Wilkes-Barre and Davis Street, with the Rev. Luther A. Gruver, officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph’s New cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Irvin Grube, Donald Rice, James Gaffney, Arthur Bonser, William Amey, and Thomas Langen Sr. |
