Harrison Shannon
Harrison Shannon, of Mt. Bethel, died at 9:30 o’clock on Friday morning of a complication of diseases, aged nearly 74 years. Three children survive, as follows, Stewart Shannon of Cresco; Mrs. Edward Pensyl, of Upper Mt. Bethel Township, and Mrs. Enoch Bartow of Mt. Bethel; also three brothers, Hiram Shannon, of Windsor, Conn.; William Shannon of Newburg, NY.; Joseph Shannon of Pen Argyl, and three sisters, Mrs. John C. Good, of Rochester, Mich.; Mrs. Amanda Aten, of Wilkes Barre, and Mrs. Alice Weller, of Stroudsburg.
The funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:40 with brief services from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Enoch Bartow, at Mt. bethel, followed by regular services at Stone Church. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining.
