Mrs. Laurenti Knecht, 76, widow of Howard R. Knecht, died yesterday of bronchial pneumonia at her home in Bethlehem.

Mrs. Knecht was the widow of Howard R. Knecht, who for 40 years operated the roller-flouring mills at Shimersville under the name of John Knecht and sons. He was a descendant of John Jacob Knecht who came to this country from the Palatinate, Germany with 59 of his neighbors and relatives on the sailing vessel “The Allen.” Mr. Knecht died in November 1932.

She was the daughter of the late Dr. Barnet and Camila Walter. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence Heller, at home, a son, John; a brother, Dr. William Walter of Bethlehem, and a sister, Miss Cora Walter of Farmersville. The late Dr. Robley Dunglision Walter, of Easton, was a brother of deceased. Mrs. Knecht was a sister-in-law of the late Dr. J. J. Detwiller, of this city.
