Mrs. Lovine Bender
Following a long illness from a complication of diseases, Maria Bender, n ee Fenstermacher, wife of Lovine Bender, a well-known and respected reside nt of Northampton, died Friday morning at 12;45 O'CLOCK AT THE Sacred hea rt hospital, where she was confined since November 13. She was aged 74 ye ars, 8 months and 25 days.

She was born at Shoenersville, a daughter of Jacob and Lydia, nee Unangs t, Bender. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Ms. Samu el Howell, of Northampton , and Mrs. Thomas Everett, of this city; two sis ters, Mrs. John Riegel and Miss Violetta Fenstermacher, of Easton, and t wo brothers, Jerry, of Bethlehem, and George Fenstermacher, Shoenersvill e, Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survived.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with services at her la te home, 2104 Washington Avenue, Northampton, interment in Fairview cemete ry, Northampton
