Maj. Francis E. "Slim" Breidinger, 73, of 516 Oakwood St., Palmer Townshi p, died Friday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Mary (Drummond) B reidinger. They were married 47 years last November.
He was a self-employed building contractor, responsible for work on the Pa lmer Township Fire Company and the Suburban Rescue Squad. He also work ed on the Brown & Lynch American Legion Post No. 9 in Palmer Township.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Francis and Gertrude (Metz) Breid inger.
He was a retired major in the Air Force reserves, and an Army Air Corps ve teran of World War II.
He was a member of the Palmer Municipal Fire Company.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Frank M. of Plainfield Township, Charles A. of Palm er Township, and David R. of Richboro, Bucks County; daughters, Marianne G ordey of Raleigh, N.C.; Shirley Breidinger of Orlando, Fla., Terry Dav is of Easton, and Dawn Fredley of Pittsburgh; and 18 grandchildren. |
