Carey Siblings: | Born: Baptism: Place: Sponsors: Died: Burial: Notes: Easton Express, Saturday, March 14, 1964, page 1 Milford Carey, Former Legion Officer, Dies Milford Carey Jr., 75, of 615 Reeder St., died at 5:30 A.M. today in East on Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday. Mr. Carey was to have been honored March 21 at the 45th anniversary dinn er of Brown and Lynch Post 9. He was a past commander in life member of t he post. Mr. Carey was employed as a draftsman at the Ingersoll-Rand Co. until h is retirement five years ago. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the First Moravian Church and had served on the boa rd of elders of that church. He was a member of Lt., E. C. Baker Post 12 90, VFW; Dallas Lodge 396, F & A.M., and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, No. 35. Mr. Carey was born May 4, 1888, in Wilmington, Delaware, a son of the la te Milford and Helen Neave Carey. His wife, the former Ann Buss, di ed in February 1942. Surviving are three sons, Richard B, Flemington; James M, Seattle, Washing ton, and John F, San Francisco; a daughter, Helen, wife of Dr. Robert K. S assaman, Easton, and eight grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Heck Memorial Home.
