Edwin Hay
Edwin Hay died at Bethlehem Friday, from typhoid pnenmonia, aged 54 year s. He was born in Bethlehem township, on November 20, 1852, and was the s onof the late Peter and Sophia Gross Hay. On June 27, 1874, he was married to Miss Amelia E. Buss, of Palmer Township, the ceremony being perfrm ed by Rev. I. W. Bieber, of Bethlehem. Nineteen years ago the couple moved to Bethlehem. Mr. Hay is survived by his wife and seven children.

Edwin Hay
Edwin Hay died at Bethlehem on Friday night of a complication of disease s, aged 54 years. He was taken ill with typhoid pneumonia three weeks ag o. He was born in Bethlehem Township and was the son of Peter and Soph ia Gross Hay. On June 27, 1874, he was married to Amelia Elizabeth Bus s, daughter of William Buss, of Palmer township, by Rev. I. W. Biebe r, of Bethlehem. He leaves his widow, seven children, Mrs. John Odenwelde r, of Atlantic City: Mrs. Wilson Schmetzle, Mrs. Charles Deshler, Howa rd F, Floyd E, William H, and Uriel G.P. all of Bethlehem: four brother s, John, of Stuberville, James, of Easton; George, of Nazareth, and Milto n, of Wagnersville, and three sisters, Mrs. Edward Reeser, of Easton; Mr s. Hiram Schnable, of Bethlehem Township, and Mrs. G F.. Marsh, Bethlehe m. The funeral be taken place tomorrow afternoon at 2:00. |
